Start with the petrol-injection technology. Compatible MPI petrol vehicles normally enter the Sequential route; compatible direct-injection petrol engines use the specialised Direct Injection route. MIJO confirms the final system vehicle-wise.
They use different control strategies and component configurations because the original petrol-injection systems are different. Direct Injection CNG therefore has its own dedicated product route.
Conventional CNG is retained for suitable older petrol technologies and market applications. Technical compatibility must be confirmed before product selection.
Sequential LPG is used for compatible newer petrol applications with vehicle-matched ECU configurations. Conventional LPG uses electronic or vacuum reducer-and-mixer hardware for suitable older petrol vehicles.
