FOUR-WHEELERS · DIRECT INJECTION CNG
Direct Injection CNG for modern petrol engines
MIJO Direct Drive 2.0
A vehicle-specific Direct Injection CNG system powered by KME Poland ECU technology, paired with MIJO-selected CNG hardware and calibration.
DIRECT ANSWER
MIJO Direct Drive 2.0 is a Direct Injection CNG system for selected petrol DI engines. It combines KME direct-injection ECU technology with MIJO-selected gas-control hardware and exact vehicle calibration. Compatibility depends on the engine, model year, variant and validated configuration.
SYSTEM OVERVIEW
Six principal component groups
Harnesses, pipes and fittings vary by vehicle configuration. The CNG cylinder is separate from the kit.
Direct Drive 2.0 ECU set
KME direct-injection ECU technology with the matched sensing, harness and changeover controls required by the validated vehicle configuration.
SR03 Compact reducer
MIJO compact CNG reducer selected to regulate cylinder pressure to the controlled working pressure required by the gas-injection system.
1-ohm injector rail
Fast-response gas injector rail used to meter CNG according to the calibrated control strategy.
Refilling valve
CNG refilling hardware selected for the vehicle installation.
Cylinder valve
Cylinder-side gas-control hardware used with the approved cylinder installation.
Pressure gauge
Pressure indication hardware for the CNG storage side of the system.
HOW IT WORKS
A DI-specific strategy, not a universal petrol-to-gas switch
Read engine demand
The gas ECU uses engine operating information to calculate the calibrated gas strategy.
Regulate CNG pressure
The reducer lowers high cylinder pressure to the controlled working pressure required by the injectors.
Meter gas to the engine
The calibrated strategy controls gas injection and, where the exact application requires it, vehicle-specific petrol contribution.

DIRECT INJECTION CNG QUESTIONS
What to confirm before choosing a DI conversion
What is MIJO Direct Drive 2.0?
MIJO Direct Drive 2.0 is MIJO's Direct Injection CNG system for selected petrol DI engines. It combines KME direct-injection ECU technology from Poland with MIJO-selected CNG hardware and vehicle-specific calibration.
Is every direct-injection petrol car compatible?
No. Direct injection describes the engine's petrol-fuel system; it does not by itself confirm a validated MIJO CNG configuration. Exact engine, model year and variant must be checked before fitment.
Does a Direct Injection CNG conversion still use petrol?
Petrol contribution can form part of the operating strategy on a DI conversion. The amount is not universal and depends on the engine, vehicle application and calibration.
How is DI CNG different from normal sequential CNG?
A conventional sequential CNG system is intended for suitable port-injected petrol engines. A DI system must coordinate with direct petrol injection and therefore requires DI-specific ECU strategy, calibration and application support.
What comes with the MIJO Direct Drive 2.0 system?
The principal groups include the Direct Drive ECU set, SR03 Compact reducer, injector rail, refilling valve, cylinder valve and pressure gauge, together with configuration-specific harnesses, pipes and fittings. The CNG cylinder is separate.
